Hummus & Pita Chips

1. Get your ingredients
1 lemon
1 clove of garlic
1 (15.5-oz) can chickpeas
½C tahini (sesame seed butter)
½t cumin
1 package pita bread
3T olive oil
Ice water
Diamond Crystal kosher salt (see video below)
2. Gather your equipment
Small bowl for scraps
Medium bowl for pita chips
Cutting board
Small knife
Can opener
Measuring spoons
Measuring cups
Colander
Microplane (or fine grater garlic press)
Citrus juicer
Clean kitchen towel
Food processor, blender, or immersion blender
2-cup container (if using immersion blender)
Clean scissors
Sheet pan
Foil or parchment paper
