Ranch Kale Salad

Gather your ingredients and kitchen tools, then cook with me in real time, and enjoy a delicious meal by the end of our class.

1. Get your ingredients

  • 1 bunch green kale

  • 1 package plain rice cakes

  • 2T olive oil

  • ½C mayo

  • ¼C plain yogurt

  • 1T fresh dill

  • 1 lemon

  • ¾t garlic powder

  • ¾t onion powder

  • Kosher salt (see video below for my recommendation)

I like Follow Your Heart and JUST mayo for plant-based options

My favorite plant-based plain yogurts are Kite Hill and Forager—which is the exact same product as Trader Joe’s

2. Gather your equipment

  • large bowl for salad

  • medium bowl for scraps

  • small bowl for dressing

  • small spoon from your silverware set

  • clean kitchen towel

  • cutting board

  • small knife your child can use

  • measuring spoons

  • measuring cups

  • citrus juicer (optional)

  • whisk

3. Print your recipe
