Spring Pea Salad

Gather your ingredients and kitchen tools, then cook with me in real time, and enjoy a delicious meal by the end of our class.

1. Get your ingredients

  • 1 pkg English peas

  • 1 pkg snow peas

  • 1 pkg sugar snap peas

  • 1 head green leaf lettuce

  • 1 bunch fresh mint

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 clove garlic

  • ¼C olive oil

  • ¼C plain yogurt

  • 2t Dijon mustard

  • Kosher salt (see video below for my recommendation)

2. Gather your equipment

  • large bowl for salad

  • large bowl for ice bath

  • medium bowl for scraps

  • small bowl for dressing

  • pot to boil water

  • mesh strainer

  • small spoon from your silverware set

  • clean kitchen towel

  • cutting board

  • small knife your child can use

  • measuring spoons

  • measuring cups

  • citrus juicer

  • whisk
